Felix Hütt

Felix Hütt is a fully qualified German and European Patent Attorney and European Patent Litigator before the Unified Patent Court (UPC). He advises national and international clients in patent validity and infringement proceedings. He combines comprehensive scientific knowledge and deep understanding of complex technical issues with legal expertise in intellectual property law.

Prior to joining EIP, Felix worked as a patent attorney in the patent litigation practice of the international law firm Hogan Lovells International LLP. He previously completed his training as a patent attorney at an international patent law firm that focused primarily on prosecution work. From initial contact with inventors and the drafting of patent applications to the enforcement of patent rights, Felix has gained vast experience, whereby in recent years he has been one of the few patent attorneys in Germany to focus on litigation work.

He has been involved in numerous major patent litigation series, particularly in the area of standard essential patents (SEPs), and has extensive experience in several fields of technology, specializing in particular in the areas of information and communication technology, semiconductor technology, electrical engineering, software and optics.

He represents clients in proceedings before the UPC and in opposition and nullity proceedings before the German and European Patent Offices and is involved in infringement proceedings. He speaks German and English.
